Hicks Farms located in Westbury, NY on Long Island has been around since 1853. Enjoy the beautiful flowers, shrubbery, lansdcaping and holiday items. It's a fun place for families to enjoy and experience the holiday seasons, but also fun for adults.
Don’t be deceived by the outside of the museum. We have been to Lake George numerous of times and never thought to go to in. However, it is not your typical wax museum and if you don’t mind the dark, then this is for you...
What a great museum that is not overwhelming. Enjoy the two floors of exhibits and walk the many trails on the museum's property.
Then it's time for lunch down the road at Barefoot Peddler.
Bundle up and get warm for the parade. It is spectacular and you will be blown away by the creativity. Enjoy the free hot chocolate provided by the church and the local food vendors.
Historic downtown Bethlehmem is a quaint little town jammed packed with unique stores and eats. Enjoy a stroll down Main Street and stop in the Visitor Center to book a tour of the area. Take a 1 minute drive to the Steel Stacks, Wind Creek Casino or Outlets.
Enjoy the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire in Conway. It is a four season town that allows you to enjoy many activities throughout the year. Including tubing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, leap peeping, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowshoeing, shopping and more. We enjoyed the season of Fall while we were there.
We had a great time creating your candy bar from start to finish. You create your own label, name, chocolate and what you want in your chocolate. You even have to wear lab coat and head covering.
This was serious, we had to wear an apron and hair cover. But it was fun.
We love doing the tour, first it’s free and second you get a free candy. Tour leaves you in the middle of the store, but it’s always fun to look around and see what they are selling and any new candy they are coming out.
A cute 4D movie involving the Hershey chocolate characters. You even wear 3D glasses.
I suggest you only make one because you can feed your whole group with it.
We had a good time on the 90 minute historical Hershey tour. Our tour guide Will was informative and funny with his creative jokes. Glad we finally got to experience the trolley.
This was a fantastic view of Hershey Park from the trolley.
Next time in Hershey the gardens. Our guide explained how Milton Hersheys‘ wife loved her garden and this is similar tto her garden at the Hershey House.
They are known for their sandwiches and beer.
If you like bourbon, this is the place for you. Fortunately, for us we visit here at least once or twice a year. It seems they change up their menu from time to time. Love tasting the different menu items
Choose your bourbon and you will be wowed with the flavor and definitely the soaked cherries.
My mouth was watering just reading it on the menu. Be prepared to be amazed.
This dish was delicious with homemade tortilla chips.
Wow! Is what we said after tasting the calamari. It wasn’t smothered in the sauce, but was drizzled just enough with sun dried tomatoes. Highly recommend trying it.
Delicious and moist chicken accompanied with cole slaw, cold ditalini pasta salad and succotash.
Not your typical brewery food and dynamite beer selection. Stay posted for future photos of the brewery and it's food.
A 35 minute drive from Hershey. We really enjoyed it with free ice cream tastings and ice tea tastings. Had fun just being big kids.
They have a whole refri section in gift shop to purchase by the 1/2 Gallon. Needless to say we bought 3.
Who wouldn’t want to be submerged in a container of ice cream.
Definitely a fun place for all with many interactive things to do.
My husband found this out doughnut place in Lancaster, PA . About a 38 Minute drive from Hershey. They are open Mon-Sat 7am-5pm.
Great place for food, drink and atmosphere. Perfect location-only about 10 minutes from Hershey. In fact it is just across the way from Primanti Brothers.
If you are craving ice cream in Hershey, then this is the place to go. Ice cream is delicious and the cafe is family friendly.
The ice cream is not only delicious, but it’s fun to eat with the color changing spoons.
Love the covered deck with plenty of outdoor picnic tables with plenty of napkins, just in case you need.

Get here early and set up your chairs on the parade route, then walk around the little town on Main Street. There were food vendors that included a bowl of cheese fries, pizza, beer, kettle corn to just name a few. And once the sun goes down it was cold, make sure you are dressed warm.
A true favorite by all The Nightmare Before Christmas
Come on down and purchase items to help support the community-Santa Hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and more.

The Bethelhem Steel Plant employed thousands of workers producing steel. Unfortunately, they had to shut down in 1995. The Steel Stacks have been revitalized and the 10 acre property is home to Musikfest, an ice skating rink, Christkrindlemartkt, Comedy festivals, and more.
As you walk across the Hoover-Mason Trestle stop and read how it all began.
Quaint town
Stop in to see local crafts and gifts, as well as book a book of the town. Over the years we did the bus tour and the walking tour. Everyone enjoyed them.
